Directions

From the North of M56 motorway
1. From the north use the M6 motorway going south.
2. Join the M56 motorway going west towards Chester and North Wales.
3. Come off the M56 at Junction 10 and follow the A49 road until the first set of traffic lights.
4. At these lights turn left towards Northwich and Barnton along the A533.
5. Follow the A533 through the village of Barnton until the next set of traffic lights.
6. At these lights turn right towards Northwich over a swing bridge that crosses the River Weaver.
7. At the next left turn (100 yds concealed on left hand bend), turn left towards Brunner Mond and Winnington Hall. Winnington Hall is some 75 yards on the right side of the road. Turn right just before the hall and follow the signs to the parking area.

From the South of M56 motorway
A. Use the M6 motorway going north and come off at Junction 19 on the A556, the first exit on the roundabout.
B. Follow the A556 for approximately 7 miles until you reach the sign directing you to Hartford. The road to Hartford will be a road that is on the right hand side ( to the north) of the A556.
C. You will now be on School Lane and follow it to the end.
D. At the end of this road turn right onto Chester road and at the next set of traffic lights turn left into Bradburns Lane.
E. Follow Bradburns Lane to the end and at the T - junction turn right into Beech Road.
F. Follow Beech Road for approximately 300 yards, turn left (down) into Burrows Hill. Follow Burrows Hill to the end and turn right . Pass the NALCO factory on the right side of the road.
G. At the end of the road, turn left at the traffic lights before going into the works gate. You will soon go over a bridge. The first turning to the right is the turning towards Winnington Hall. The Hall is some 75 yards on the right. Turn right just before the hall and follow the signs to the parking area.

From the East
Either join the M56 and follow the instruction ‘From the North of M56 motorway’ from point 2 or follow the instruction ‘From the South of M56 motorway’ by joining the A556

From the West
Either join the M56 and follow the instruction ‘From the North of M56 motorway’ from point 2 or join the A556 until the sign to ‘Hartford’ only and then follow the instructions ‘From the South of M56 motorway’ at point C.
